Gymnasts sore virtually in Surrey

On February 27^th, gymnasts from Campbell River competed virtually in the Carol Lenz memorial competition hosted by the Surrey Gymnastics Club.  The Campbell River Gymnastics Association sent a group of boys and girls that had a strong showing!  A combined 50 plus medals with three All Around Champions and 9 athletes finishing on the podium in the All Around.  Well done athletes!!  Here are the results by category and level.

Men’s Senior

Carson Ogg won the Gold medals on Floor, Vault, Parallel Bars and High Bar, and captured the All Around Title!

Provincial 5

Owen Harbo captured the Gold medals on Floor, Pommel Horse, Rings, Vault, Parallel Bars and High Bar coming home as the All Around Champion!

CCP9

Hannah Herschler captured the Gold medals on Vault Bars and Beam, won the Silver medal on Floor to come home as the All Around Champion!

Ksenia Stansell won the Gold medal on Floor, captured the Silver medals on Vault, Bars and Beam to come home with the Silver medal in the All Around.

CCP8 2006-2008

Ava Herschler captured the Silver medals on Bars and Beam, placed 4^th on Vault, finished 6^th on Floor to come home with the Silver medal in the All Around.

CCP7 2008-2010

Rihanna Dill won the 4^th place ribbon on Floor, took 7^th place on Bars, finished 9^th on Beam and 10^th on Vault to come home in 8^th place in the All Around.

CCP6 2003-2008

Alyssa Wood placed 8^th on Vault, took 9^th place on Floor, finished 12^th on Bars and 14^th on Beam to come home in 12^th place in the All Around.

CCP 6 2009

Anna Harris won the Gold medals on Vault and Bars, took the 5^th place ribbon on Beam, finished 9^th on Floor to come home with the Bronze medal in the All Around.

Sophie Mayers captured the Silver medal on Floor, took 5^th place on Bars, finished 8^th on Beam and 10^th on Vault to come home in 5^th place in the All Around.

Hannah Thomas captured the Bronze medals on both Vault and Floor, finished 10^th on Beam and 12^th on Bars to come home in 9^th place in the All Around.

CCP6 2010

Kaylie Lofstrom won the Gold medals on Bars and Floor, captured the Bronze medal on Vault, finished 6^th on Beam to come home with the Silver medal in the All Around.

Polly Klipa captured the Gold medal on Vault, won the Bronze medal on Beam, finished 6^th on both Bars and Floor to come home with the Bronze medal in the All Around.

Grace Fraser won the Gold medal on Floor, placed 4^th on both Bars and Beam, finished 8^th on Vault to come home in 5^th place in the All Around.

Sophie Pallan won the 6^th place ribbon on Vault, took 8^th place on Bars, finished 9^th on both Beam and Floor to come home in 7^th place in the All Around.

Chloe Stewart captured 7^th place on Floor, took 11^th place on both Vault and Beam, finished 14^th on Bars to come home in 12^th place in the All Around.

CCP6 2011-2012

Isobel Read won the Silver medal on Bars, place 4^th on Floor, finished 6^th on Vault and 7^th on Beam to come home in 4^th place in the All Around.

Haylee Toohey won the Bronze medal on Beam, captured 4^th place on Floor, finished 6^th on Bars and 7^th on Vault to come home in 7^th place in the All Around.

CCP 5 all ages

Lacey Palmer captured the Silver medal on Beam, won the Bronze medal on Floor, placed 6^th on both Vault and Bars to come home in 4^th place in the All Around.

Jaycee LaFrance won the Bronze medal on Vault, took the 4^th place ribbons on both Bars and Beam, finished 6^th on Floor to come home in 5^th place in the All Around.

CCP4 2009-2011

Olivia Fawbert captured the Bronze medal on Beam, took the 5^th place ribbon on Vault, placed 6^th on Floor and 7^th on Bars to come home in 5^th place in the All Around.

Avery McColl won the Gold medal on Vault, took 8^th place on Beam, finished 9^th on Floor and 11^th on Bars to come home in 7^th place in the All Around.

CCP3 2008-2011

Koiia Hausner captured the Gold medals on Vault, Bars, and Beam, placed 12^th on Floor to come home with the Bronze medal in the All Around.

CCP 3 2012-2014

Callie Bukta tied for the Bronze medal on Vault, placed 9^th on Floor, finished 10^th on Bars and 11^th on Beam to come home in 9^th place in the All Around.

Hannah Sumner tied for the Bronze medal on Vault, captured 8^th place on Bars, finished 13^th on both Beam and Floor to come home in 12^th place in the All Around.

Nahla Birchard captured 10^th place on both Vault and Beam, finished 12^th on Floor and 13^th on Bars to come home in 13^th place in the All Around.
